Dialogue with the Cat II - Summer grooming

Because of the heatwave I decided to give She Who Must Be Petted a thorough brushing. Cats are completely overstimulated by brushing, so I gently put a finger on either side of her neck to stop the squirming as I brushed out about half a cat's worth of hair. If I could translate the meowing into English, I think it was:

YES NO YES NO YES YES NO NO NO NO YES YES NO YES NO YES NO NO NO NO NO NO.

YES.
NO.

more.

NO.

I completely know how you feel! The only cat I have at home now is my 'non-grooming' cat... She prefers to do the work herself. I do, however, occasionally track her down and clip her claws.

Good for you to get her all fixed up!! Got any pics of the 'before' and 'after'? hehe...

I would say that you could send me the half cat that you brushed out and I could squoze that since SWMBP is too far away... but the secret to a good squoze is in the squirming... and then of course there are my allergies to consider!

You are a knitter. You know just what to do with all that cat hair! Take it to a spinner.

And no, I haven't vanished off the face of the Earth. Living in a cave of my own making, maybe. Emerging now.
