How to speak cat

Scott Bateman is going to produce an animated film a day every day for a year. This is Day 11. I believe Mr. Bateman has ambivalent feelings towards cats. He shows no ambivalence towards George Bush.

I like Bateman’s rendering of Karl Rove.

My cat wouldn’t tear anything from a bird’s throat if the bird was to prostrate itself in front of her, stretch out its neck, and beg for extinction. She is sixteen and arthritic, true, but even in her salad days she would never kill anything. She would bring them back alive and stand in front of me expectantly as the poor victim wiggled helplessly or hung limp with shock. I had to take them away from her and set them free or dispose of them if they were too far gone (which wasn't often).
